MB-1 New Era Sustainiac, Chrome Hardware, Ebony Fingerboard, Satin Bluebell
New Era instruments represent the latest evolution of our product line combining the value of the M-series together with the creativity and production methods of Manson's custom work from our Ashburton workshops.
The NE range creates a core product for the popular MB signature model featuring full in-house body machining and hand finishing, striking paint finishes and custom electronics, (including Manson’s own pickups) where the newly expanded workforce creates the MB-1 NE from start to finish.
Incorporating new tweaks and improvements, including features that have been stage-proven by company co-owner Matthew Bellamy during world touring duties the new MB-1 NE now discards the traditional neck plate and replaces it with a more sculpted, sleeker, recessed four-bolt neck-to-body join, as seen in the company’s ORYX model range. Upper access is improved; fatigue is reduced.
An improved custom Sustainiac system adds the OEM-style circuit board to the NE range which increases performance and reduces cross-talk of the sustainiac whilst in use.
The latest full custom Z-Vex internal fuzz factory now sports easy-adjust internal controls and a more secure fixing method after development between MGW and the team at Z-Vex Effects.
NE models rely heavily on the ethos and ultra-high specifications of Manson Guitars custom creations which means the hardware is top-notch including Gotoh hardware, rolled edge figured necks with compound radius, solid Obeche bodies and Manson hard cases as standard.
To celebrate the launch of the new range our first run of NE instruments Satin Bluebell has been added to the range of colours on offer in our first build run.
