Digital piano from Yamaha

The Clavinova CLP-845 PE digital piano features a weighted GrandTouch-S keyboard for a natural, precise response. 38 tones, including the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos created with binaural sampling, provide outstanding sound. The use of the improved Virtual Resonace Modeling (VRM) technology opens up new sound dimensions in the field of digital pianos. New to the Yamaha CLP-845 are the sounds of the fortepiano (fortepiano), which allow classical music from the 18th and early 19th centuries to be played in a natural way. The integrated amplifier with 2 x 45 watts of power ensures an enormous richness of sound and optimum sound characteristics.

GrandTouch-S keyboard

The Yamaha CLP-845 digital piano features a high-quality, velocity-sensitive GrandTouch-S keyboard with great dynamics and a responsive feel on a par with a concert grand piano. The surface of all the highly absorbent keys is made of synthetic ivory, which prevents slipping even when playing for long periods and gives a natural playing feel. A pressure point mechanism built into the keyboard reproduces the feeling just before the end of the keyboard pressure. This mechanism has been designed so that it can only be felt when light pressure is applied, similar to the keyboard of a grand piano.

Full sound experience

Grand Expression Modeling, a newly developed technology in the field of digital pianos, interprets the interaction and interplay of the mechanical elements of a concert grand piano. The interaction and interplay of the hammers, dampers and strings when the keys are struck is perfectly reproduced. The two sounds of the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos recorded with binaural sampling provide an incomparable sound experience. Another special feature are the sounds of the fortepiano (fortepiano), which reproduces the classical music of the 18th and early 19th centuries in a natural way.
