Ever since Bob Taylor made his first Hawaiian koa guitar decades ago, we’ve had a deep reverence for the tonewood’s gorgeous visual character and distinctive woody voice. The 50th Anniversary 924ce-K LTD is a sublime showcase for what we love about koa.
Limited to 74 guitars worldwide, this guitar’s top, back and sides boast stunning AA-grade figured Hawaiian koa. The versatile Grand Auditorium body features a gloss finish, with a Venetian cutaway and a radius-style ebony armrest for enhanced playing comfort.
Elegant appointments include a paua rosette, Ascension fretboard and peghead inlays in motherof-pearl and abalone, and paua top edge trim with koa and black purfling lines. Other refined details include ebony binding around the body, fretboard, peghead and soundhole; ebony and koa rosette purfling; an ebony heelcap, tailstrip, backstrap and peghead veneer; and koa purfling that highlights the fretboard and peghead.
Exclusive 50th Anniversary touches include Gotoh luxury gold tuners, gold-dotted ebony bridge pins, and a special commemorative label. This limit ededition model is equipped with ES2 electronics and ships in a deluxe hardshell case.
Koa Circa 74 Amp + Stand
The 50th Anniversary 924ce-K LTD comes paired with a Hawaiian koa Circa 74 amplifier and stand.
The beautiful koa cabinet contributes to its warm, smooth sound.
The solid-state amplifier delivers 150 watts of rich sound through a 10-inch full-range speaker, making it perfect for intimate settings and larger performance spaces. It offers a three-band EQ and reverb controls to precisely dial in your sound. The
matching koa stand beautifully complements the guitar and amp.
The amplifier features Bluetooth Connectivity to stream music and play or sing along, and is compatible with all major acoustic guitar pickups and vocal mics.
Production will be limited to 74 guitars and amplifiers.
