It possesses a 'Drive' knob, as well as a 'Tone' and a 'Level' control. The 'Smooth' switch has two positions: 'Left' for a smooth sound where the higher frequencies are attenuated and 'Right' where the 'presence' is fully preserved and no high frequencies are attenuated. Of course, the pedal is completely true bypass when you turn it off.
