Information
Steve Lukather is one of the driving forces behind Toto, as well as a prolific producer and session guitarist, among other things. This Sterling LK100 Luke is an affordable version of his signature Music Man model. As always with Sterling, every detail has been taken care of to present an instrument that meets the demands of the picky guitarist.
Ergonomic neck
The LK100 is a modern guitar. The curves of the basswood body, with its many bevels, speak volumes about its ergonomics. In addition, the neck features make it perfect for those who like low action and speed. The neck is made of roasted maple for stability and features a rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius and a 42mm nut width.
5 position selector and boost
Although equipped with two humbuckers, this LK100 uses a 5-way switch instead of the usual 3-way switch usually seen on this kind of configuration. This allows for a wider range of sounds for increased versatility. Moreover, the volume control hides a push-push function whose role is to activate an active boost of 12 dB. Perfect to get out of the mix during solos! The Sterling LK100 is equipped with a Vintage Tremolo vibrato and six locking tuning machines for flawless tuning.
