The Sterling by Music Man John Petrucci MAJ100 Majesty RW Siberian Sapphire is the signature guitar of the Dream Theater guitarist and offers an innovative design with unrestricted playability and versatile sounds of the harder kind. The ergonomic body design and the free-standing neck in D-profile promise an unhindered access to all positions of the fingerboard, while hot humbuckers and the switchable 12dB Boost on the amplifier give a lot of pressure. The Sterling Majesty is completed by a SBMM Modern Tremolo and SBMM Locking tuners.

Innovative design and high playability

The innovative design of the Sterling Majesty was developed in close cooperation with John Petrucci and convinces with an incomparably high playability for advanced playing techniques of progressive metal. The mahogany body is not only extremely stable when sitting on the thigh, but also takes a perfectly balanced position on the strap. The wide cutaways also expose the entire mahogany neck for unobstructed access to the high registers of the rosewood fingerboard. The wide D-profile and flat 16" (406 mm) fingerboard radius also make every riff and solo come out of the fingers with ease.

As a John Petrucci Signature electric guitar, the Sterling by Music Man JP100 Majesty naturally delivers brute metal sounds at the amplifier, but also shows its soft string in the clean channel. The Sterling by Music Man humbuckers installed in neck and bridge position convince with a well-measured Output and a harmonically balanced reproduction that lets solo lines sing with endless Sustain while riffs are presented with tight definition. Clean played chords and melodies are also presented with first-class string separation. furthermore, the SBMM Majesty offers an active boost that is activated via the push/pull volume pot and boosts the signal and 12 dB for additional volume and gain reserves.

Modern Tremolo and Locking tuners

In addition, Sterling by Music Man equips the John Petrucci MAJ100 Majesty Siberian Sapphire with high-quality Hardware, whose high functionality ensures unrestricted playing pleasure. The bridge used is the SBMM Modern Tremolo , which is mounted on two pins and impresses with its buttery smooth handling. Due to the undercutting, both up- and down-bendings are possible without any problems, while six individually adjustable tailpieces guarantee an exact intonation and comfortable string position even when using thick strings and low tunings. From the bridge the strings are guided with the classic 25.5" scale length (648 mm) towards the headstock, where SBMM Locking tuners in typical "4+2" arrangement promise a robust tuning even with frequent use of the whammy bar.
