Sterling by Music Man makes guitars that combine classic design with innovation and playability. This James Valentine JV60 is a great example. It features a Mississippi ash body with an SH pickup configuration. The Maroon 5 guitarist chose a particular pickup configuration, since what seems to be a humbucker in the bridge position is actually a single pickup. On the neck side, it's really a humbucker, this mix of pickups allowing to play funky rhythms as well as warm leads.

The JV60 has a neck and fingerboard made of roasted maple. The set features a 9.5" radius, 1.65" nut width and 22 narrow frets.
