The Shure GLXD16+E-Z4 is designed specifically for guitarists and bassists. The pedalboard format of the receiver allows for easy placement on a pedalboard. Even the power supply can be provided by the same power supply of the other devices on the board. The new 6.35mm guitar input allows users to practice and use the tuner without having to have a transmitter powered on and connected.

The included lithium-ion battery can be charged in a variety of ways and offers a fast charge function with up to 12 hours of runtime (improved over the previous GLX-D generation).
