The Roland VAD307 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit is a high-quality electric drum set equipped with flat wooden shells, sturdy stand and the TD-17 2.0 sound module. The module has over 300 internal sounds and 100 drum kits stored. The module's sound engine is based on Roland's TD-50. Additionally, up to 100 user samples can be inserted. There is 32 MB of internal memory available, and an SD Card with up to 4 GB can also be used. An innovative feature is the Bluetooth function of the TD-17 module: It is possible to stream music wirelessly to the module. The Roland VAD307 features a 12'' snare and floor tom, two 10'' rack toms and an 18' 'bass drum for a natural, full-grown feel. The shells are made of wood and are pleasantly flat. They enhance the authentic acoustic feeling while playing. In the 307 variant, two 12-inch CY-12C-T crash cymbals and one 14-inch CY-14R-T ride cymbal with a thin profile are included, which further enhances the realistic playing feel.

The multi-layered and tension-adjustable Roland Mesh Heads contribute a crucial part to the authentic playing feel. In addition, the hit rebound can be adjusted to your personal playing style. With each Kick into the Bass Drum the air in the drum is set in motion, the air pressure thus generated brings authentic resistance and is indistinguishable from an acoustic Bass drum. The Roland VAD307 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit's low-profile shells save space and weight without affecting the kit's performance. Each drum has excellent sensors to ensure a natural response and high-quality feel. For maximum stability, each stand is double-braced for quick and easy adjustment.

TD-17 sound module with update for professional applications

There are 70 preset and 50 user kits available in the TD-17 module. Wav samples can be easily imported into the module via SD card. Each sound of the TD-17 is individually adjustable in pitch, carpet tension and attenuation. A treble and bass equalizer as well as reverb and compressor are available for each channel, and there is also a headphone output, two extra trigger inputs, an AUX-IN, MIDI OUT and a USB audio to PC/MAC connection. Thanks to the Bluetooth 4.2 transceiver, it is possible to wirelessly stream music to the module and cross-reference your own recordings. There is 32 MB of internal memory available for your own samples. The more than 310 sounds have been developed on the basis of the Roland TD-50 module.
