The Nowsonic Hexacon is a headphone amplifier with six separate amplifier channels. Each channel derives its signal from the stereo input on the rear panel.
If you need to temporarily feed a different signal to the connected headphones, you can replace the input signal via a direct input on the front. In addition, each headphone channel has its own stereo input for monitoring an alternative signal. Each output channel offers dedicated control over the panning of the signal. Alternatively, the mixing ratio between the primary input and the AUX input can be controlled in the channel.
Each output channel features a dual-channel equalizer for optimizing the sound of the output signal as needed. For flexible wiring, the headphone outputs are in parallel as 1/4" stereo TRS jacks on the rear and the front panel. Each channel can also be individually toggled between the four operating modes Stereo, Mono Left, Mono Right, and Mono Left & Right for providing various monitoring options.
On the rear panel, you will find balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS jacks for the main bus. The input signal can be looped through to further Hexacon units via normalized THRU sockets (XLR - and 1/4" TRS jack) for cascading. The output level is visualized clearly at all times via an eight-step level display for each channel as well as in the MAIN bus.
