This cymbal has a diameter of 20 inches and you can use it as a crash, or as a ride. As a crash, this cymbal sounds quite explosive, and if you play the cymbal as a ride, you will have a nice "washy" ping with a warm, clear sound and excellent stick definition. In the process, the sustain is quite complex and the pitch relatively high. Meinl's HCS Bronze cymbals are particularly suitable for rock and pop music.
