All solid dreadnought with Sitka spruce top, rosewood body, pickup system and case

The popular classic Martin Guitars D-28E-LRB standard acoustic guitar gets a new look. Therefore this dreadnought now comes with vintage tuners , a tinted top , a faux tortoise pickguard and a slightly flatter neck profile for a modern and comfortable playing feel.

Sometimes innovation is in the detail and this is certainly true for the Martin Guitars D-28 Standard from the renowned Martin factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. For nearly a century, the legendary D-28 has shaped generations of musicians and has been loved and cherished as a fundamental workhorse by music legends such as the
Beatles , Hank Wiliams , Johnny Cash , Neil Young and Bob Dylan . Reason enough for Martin to give this legend a makeover and bring together the best details from the pre-war and post-war D-28. Furthermore the flat "Modified Low Oval" neck profile provides a modern soft playability.

The all solid Martin D-28 comes in a classic style with a Sitka spruce top and a rosewood body . Accordingly, this dreadnought resonates with tight and defined basses, nuanced and vocal mids, as well as fine silvery and brilliant highs. Its well-balanced sound has made the Martin Guitars D-28 Standard very popular, especially for recordings. It is no coincidence that it is the most recorded guitar in the world and has certainly influenced our listening habits. This makes this dreadnought ideal for powerful vocal accompaniment with strumming or flatpicking, while a compensated bone saddle ensures clean intonation and a flat string action. The nickel plated open tuners , an antique white binding , the tinted top and the faux tortoise pickguard complete the chic vintage look and of course a case is included.
