La Leona, arguably Torres most famous guitar was the inspiration to build this guitar. After thorough examination of the original guitar from 1856, Wolfgang Jellinghaus has built this extremely impressive instrument. The austere looks are true to the original, the well balanced and lively tone will please most classical players. Even though cypress was used for sides and back, this guitar still has a classical tone.
