Benson likes his gear to be powerful, dynamic and versatile, so this two-channel combo combines all these characteristics, plus it has character to spare.

The GB Twin Reverb is an upgraded version of the famous classic amp. It has been tweaked to satisfy Benson's keen ears. The first tube in the normal channel has been replaced with a model 12AY7 to provide an alternative low-gain tone ideal for achieving very smooth clean tones with complex mids. The hallmark of this amp is its impeccable sonic definition - a pair of Jensen® Tornado 12 12’ (305mm) 8 Ohm drivers reproduce the artist's dynamic attack, with brilliant highs and plenty of overdrive bite. The lower weight of the speakers, combined with the high resonance solid pine baffle, means that professional guitarists can enjoy an amplifier whose overall weight has been reduced by 5.9 kg. Four powerful 6L6 tubes drive this 85-watt model and provide enough gain reserve for clean jazz sounds.
