With the Gold series, Cort offers a new range of solid-wood acoustic guitars with heat treatment (“torrefaction”) of the top and bracing. Cort calls this process “Age To Vintage” because it reproduces the aging process of the top over the decades. The result is the full, balanced, richly harmonic sound of well-played vintage instruments. The extremely thin UV varnish of the Gold Series underlines the guitar's excellent vibratory characteristics. To further optimize sound, this instrument features the “Doublelock Neckjoint”, an additional neck-to-body attachment to improve vibration transmission.
