Product details

With the Gold Series, Cort presents a new series of all-massive acoustic guitars with heat-treated (“torrified”) tops and facings. Cort calls this process “Age To Vintage”, reproducing the aging process of the top over the decades. As a result, the wonderfully full, harmonically rich and balanced sound we know from well-recorded vintage instruments is achieved right from the start. The very fine UV varnish of the Gold Series enhances the guitar's excellent vibratory properties. In addition, another important element has been developed to achieve the best possible sound: the “Doublelock Neckjoint”, which improves vibration transmission thanks to an additional screwing of the neck to the body.
