The Chase Bliss Audio Tonal Recall sets new standards in analog delays. As usual with Chase Bliss, the developers have really done a good job and created an analog delay with extreme possibilities. The various possibilities of intervention can only be achieved by means of a digital circuit - the signal path and the effect generation is completely analog! The heart of the Tonal Recall consists of the legendary MN3005 bucket chain chips, which Chase Bliss had especially manufactured for the pedals. 2 chips are used - either individually (up to a maximum of 275 ms delay), in series (up to a maximum of 550 ms delay time) or parallel, which creates an interesting, blurred reverb style sound. Typical Chase Bliss Audio is also the fact that the Tonal Recall is equipped with extreme control possibilities. Each individual pot can be remotely operated by means of an expression signal. The assignment takes place via various DIP switches on the back. With the Tone Pot, the fundamental sound of the delay can be changed - from a dark analog delay to a more brilliant sound colour to the grumpy Oil Can Delay. Several note values for the echo repetitions and waveforms for the modulation can be preselected.
The current Red Knob variant now has 4 of the legendary MN 3005 bucket chain chips under the hood, which allow a maximum delay time of 1100 ms.
