Ashdown RM-C210T-500-EVO II Bass Combo

For those looking for Ashdown sound, power and reliability without the weight normally associated with high-powered bass amplifiers, the RM C210-500-T EVO II is the answer.
Weighing in at only 60 pounds (18 kg) and delivering 500 watts of power from two Ashdown 10" Whiteline drivers, this combo is packed with top-notch quality and features. The Rootmaster EVO II series now features a built-in headphone preamp for silent practice, making these gig-ready amplifiers convenient practice devices.
The preamp includes passive and active input jacks for high and low output instruments, establishing a clear signal path to the input control allowing you to fine-tune your input level using the Ashdown VU meter. When the signal is at its optimum level, you can then access the rich features designed to sculpt and enhance your sound, such as the shape knob, 5-band EQ and built-in compressor. The drive control, as always, offers a delectable tube-emulated overdrive, while the sub-harmonic controls add even more fatness to your sound-both can be footswitched via an FS 2 footswitch (sold separately).
The rear of the Rootmaster EVO II is also packed with features: balanced DI output, line input, effects loop, headphone output, and a Neutrik Speakon/Jack jack for adding an 8-ohm extension cabinet.
Finally, a convenient mute switch allows you to tune and switch instruments silently, with the VU turning from orange to cool blue when muted.

Matte Anodized Alloy Front Panel

A matte anodized alloy finish makes controls and settings easy to read, even under the brightest stage lights.

Simple yet powerful EQ

The Rootmaster EVO II preamplifier now includes both passive and active input jacks for use with high and low output instruments. Five-band rotary tone controls work with surgical precision to give you total control over your sound, while a shape switch gives you instant access to a classic Ashdown tone setting, straight from the famous ABM.

One-button compression

The simple yet highly effective foot compression allows you to control the dynamic range of your sound while increasing sustain and thickness, helping to make the overall level of your playing as consistent as possible.

Overdrive & Sub Harmonics

Thanks to the flexibility of the pedal, our tube overdrive can take the base sound of your bass and push it into a hot overdrive to distortion and anywhere in between when you need to add grit and thickness to your sound.
Bringing extra depth and definition to your bass parts, the sub-harmonic generator allows you to select a sub-octave and activate it via a footswitch when you need extra depth for those super heavy Godzilla moments.

Totally connected

If you want to use your favorite pedals or multi-effects, you'll find send and return jacks on the rear panel, as well as a DI output for direct injection into the mixing or recording console and a line input (with front-panel level control) to let you play along with a backing track on repeat.
A combined Neutrik Jack/Speakon jack allows you to connect an 8 ohm extension cabinet.

Headphone output

The Rootmaster EVO II series now features a built-in headphone preamp for silent practice, making these gig-ready amplifiers convenient practice devices. The headphone preamp maximizes the sonic potential of your headphones, so your sound in the ear can now match the quality of your sound on stage.
