Product details

The MZR-804 is a rackmount zone mixer designed to provide flexible and accurate sound management in multi-zone installations. With its 6 line inputs, 2 of which can be switched to phono, its 4 independent zones, its 2 microphone channels with talkover and its emergency broadcast system, it meets the needs of installations in public places such as shopping centres and bars/restaurants.

Unrivalled versatility for all your audio sources
The MZR-804 is a true Swiss Army Knife of audio, capable of mixing and broadcasting a wide selection of audio sources at different points in a business, hotel, school or place of worship.
6 line inputs, 2 of which are phono switchable, allow the connection of a variety of audio sources, from CD players to vinyl turntables, radio tuners or any other stereo source. Each channel has a gain potentiometer and a dedicated level fader for precise adjustment of the level of each input.
The 2 microphone channels, with their global 3-band equalisation and dedicated level, are ideal for making announcements in the general broadcast, in particular thanks to the presence of an individually adjustable talkover on the main output and on each of the zones to prioritise the voice. This means you can easily reduce the music level in the zone you want to play an important announcement.
To play music from a mixing console or smartphone with ease, the MZR 804 has a TRS jack FOH input and a 3.5 mm AUX input on the front panel.

4 independent zones, 4 soundscapes
Each zone output of the MZR-804 has a complete signal routing and control interface, allowing you to create distinct soundscapes for each space.
Each zone slice has an XLR and Eurobloc output, 2-band equalisation, a 100 Hz high-pass filter and a level limiter to fine-tune the audio for many types of environment. For fine control of microphone announcements in each zone, each output has a talkover attenuation setting and a microphone activation button. On the front panel, each zone has volume, source and headphone pre-listening controls.
The main output offers a pair of XLR sockets with unbalanced RCA and Eurobloc dubbing, 3-band equalisation, a limiter and talkover attenuation.

A system designed for public spaces
The MZR-804 is equipped with a dedicated emergency input which, when it receives a signal, automatically cuts the current broadcast to give priority to an alert message in the broadcast system. In addition, the Talkover function on the microphones allows the music or announcements in progress to be temporarily interrupted to give priority to a microphone announcement, for example for an urgent communication, or for a simple communication without having to intervene on the level of a channel.

Robust design for professional use
Designed to withstand the rigours of intensive use, the MZR-804 is built from robust materials and finished to a high standard. Its reliable chassis and connectors ensure exceptional longevity, even in the most demanding environments. The rack-mountable format allows easy integration into any audio equipment rack, making it easy to install in service cabinets or racks.
